Meet Bertrand Jacquemin

Bertrand Jacquemin is a well-known figure in the world of fly fishing.
He was World Champion in 2005 (individual) and also won the Team World Champion title three times.

In addition to his global success, he became European Champion (individual) and has earned a total of 11 medals in international championships.

His impressive track record speaks for itself — excellence and consistency at the highest level.

Bertrand is especially known for his unmatched expertise and passion for sight nymphing, a technique he has mastered to perfection and is eager to share with you.

Location: Ribnik, Bosnia – an idyllic setting with access to highly productive rivers.

Group Size: Limited to 4 anglers for a fully personalized and immersive experience.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Check-in

Arrival at the airport
Transfer from the airport to the accommodation
Check-in and settling into your lodging
Evening: Welcome dinner with all participants

Day 2 to Day 7: Fishing with Bertrand and Our Local Guide

Each Day Includes:

Breakfast
Morning fishing session with Bertrand and our guide

Afternoon fishing until evening

Spotting and observing fish behavior

Equipment & Gear

All fly fishing techniques can be practiced during the trip: dry fly, wet fly, nymphing (sight, Euro, indicator, French leader…), and even streamer fishing — a particularly effective method for targeting larger fish.

However, dry fly fishing and sight nymphing will be the primary focus, provided the river conditions are normal.

Recommended Rods:

9' or 10' #4 weight: The ideal all-around choice for most situations
9' or 10' #5 weight: Useful when river flow is stronger
10' #3 weight: Recommended for very low and clear water

Important:

Bring at least two rods per person, in case of breakage.
Backup gear will be available on site if needed.

Lines & Reels:

Floating lines WF3, WF4, or WF5 will be the most commonly used, with a strong preference for WF4
As with rods, it's recommended to bring at least two reels, and ideally spare spools with different line weights to adapt to changing conditions

Price: 1790€

The proposed rate is calculated on the basis of 4 fishermen and is expressed as a price per person.

The package includes a period of 6 days of fishing and 7 nights on an all-inclusive basis.

Accommodations:

We are pleased to offer you quality lodging in our comfortable lodges, equipped with television and internet.

These accommodations are ideally located on the riverbanks, providing a peaceful and pleasant setting for your stay.

fishing licenses for the entire stay

transfers from the airports of Split, Zagreb, or Banja Luka, as well as personalized guiding by Pascal throughout the stay.

Please note that transportation from your home is not included in this package.

Useful Information for Your Trip to Bosnia:

The spoken languages are Serbian and English. Our guide speaks English.

For formalities, you will need a valid passport or a valid national identity card.

There is no time difference, but being located in the east, night falls more quickly in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The currency used is the Convertible Mark (BAM or KM). The exchange rate is approximately 1 euro to 2 Bosnian Marks.
